Introduction of the International Activities

GEPS, as the first public pension operating institution in Korea, pursue the very best innovations to continue to provide an excellent pension service.

We aim to devise a stable and sustainable pension system by building a strong partnership with other pension institutions throughout the world.

Our efforts in innovation and research have led to multiple achievements such as acquiring an international standard qualification for the pension service(ISO9001) and hosting the first international conference in 2018. We will continue to strengthen cooperation with our partners and seek out improvements in the public pension sector.

Major Activities

1) International conferences

Invite experts to share the recent trends of the public pension system across countries as well as to exchange international experiences regarding the public pension reform.

2) Global training programs

Organize and conduct global training programs to enable partnering institutions to share the best practices in various fields such as Pension Operations, Information Technology, Fund Investment etc.

3) Signing MOUs

Promote cooperation through an exchange of information and personnel to develop bilateral pension systems.

4) Seminars for foreign visitors

Share the cases and experiences of pension reforms while providing a customized consultation on each country’s pension scheme.
